Morey-Saint-Denis produit essentiellement des vins rouges fruit du cépage Pinot Noir et compte à lui seul 5 grands crus: le Clos Saint-Denis, le Clos de la Roche, le Clos de Tart, une petite partie des Bonnes Mares et le CLOS DES LAMBRAYS.
RVF 2012:
Millésime après millésime, le Clos des Lambrays s'impose comme le plus beau vin de Morey-Saint-Denis. La bouche est magnifique, charnue et racée, avec une belle colonne vertébrale donnant du relief. Somptueux une fois de plus.
BURGHOUND : 92-95
2012 Clos des Lambrays: (produced from two large parcels of differing vine age - one that is approximately two-thirds of the blend and is now 50+ years of age and a second, smaller group of vines that is approximately 25+ years of age). A markedly floral nose exhibits a broad array of spice and red and dark berry fruit aromas that include plum, cassis and earth. There is excellent detail and plenty of punch to the mineral-inflected flavors that are shaped by ultra-refined tannins on the balanced and gorgeously persistent finish. This is not super dense but the harmony and transparency are terrific and the perfect balance suggests that this will mature over a very long time. (92-95)/2027+
